Day 1: Hà Giang – Bắc Sum slope – Quản Bạ heaven gate – Nậm Đăm Village (55km)
– 8:30: Have breakfast at my Hostel
– 9:00 – 10:00: We will depart and move to Bắc Sum slope (nearly 30 km from Ha Giang city) (take a break, enjoy the view or take pictures).
Visitors will experience the road with many zigzag bends. You will feel dizzy and excited when you reach the top of the slope
– 11:00: continue to move about 20km to Quan Ba heaven gate (take a break, enjoy the view or take pictures).
– 12:00 – 13:00: Have lunch in Tam Sơn town
– 14:00 – 16:00: Visit the H’mong house in H’Mong Village (house made from clay. The wall around the house is stacked stones by hand, This is the unique culture of the Mong people)
– 16:30: Check in and rest at Nậm Đăm Village
– 18:30 – 19:30: have dinner with friends around the world meet at Homestay, enjoy happy water together and local dishes, after dinner there are some local music
Day 2: Quản Bạ – Yên Minh – Lũng Cú (around 100km)
– 8:00: Have breakfast at Homestay
– 9:00 : We will go to Cán Tỷ slope (20km from Homestay). This section is one of the steepest in Hà Giang loop. You will enjoy a panoramic view of the road below when you reach the top of this slope. Awesome!
– 11:30: Have lunch in Yên Minh town
– 13:00: We move to Tham Ma slope (about 10km from Yen Minh town). When you reach the top of the slope you will realize that this is one of the most beautiful and famous slopes on the trip. Great!
15:00: We move another 15 km to Sung La valley. When people stand from above, look down at the valley with houses made from land and walls made of stone . Tourists will surely be infatuated with the scenery here.
16:00-17:00: The next destination is Lũng Cú commune (35 km from Sung La). This commune borders China. We will check in Homestay in Lô Lô Chải village, most of the Lo Lo people are living here
– 18:30 – 19:30: have dinner with friends around the world meet at Homestay, enjoy happy water together and local dishes
Day 3: Lũng Cú – Đồng Văn – Nho Quế river – Mã Pí Lèng pass (60km)
– 8:00: Have breakfast at Homestay
– 9:00: Visit Lô Lô Chải cultural village and Lung Cu flagpole. This is the place where Lô Lô people living The highlight is the traditional costume that is meticulously handcrafted
The Lung Cu national flagpole is associated with many sacred stories about Vietnamese history. Now it has become a historical symbol, a symbol of Vietnam’s sovereignty
11:00 – 12:00: Tourists move to Đồng Văn town and have lunch here
13:30 – 16:00: We will go to the most majestic pass in Vietnam that Ma Pi Leng pass (take a break, enjoy the view or take pictures).
And then we will go down to boat docks to buy tickets, then get on a boat to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Nho Que river, visit Tu San canyon (the deepest canyon in Southeast Asia).
– 17:00: We go to Homestay and check in
– 18:30: Have dinner with friends around the world meet at Homestay, enjoy happy water together and local dishes, after dinner there are some local music
Day 4 : Mèo Vạc – Mậu Duệ – Du Già (78km)
– 8:00: Have breakfast at Homestay
– 9: 00: We move to Meo Vac town. There is the largest market in Ha Giang here, It’s only open on Sundays every week. The market is a place where ethnic minorities in Mèo Vạc and people in nearby places meet, buy and sell something.
Going through Meo Vac town about 37km will come to Mau Due commune. This route has many natural beauties that are still wild and intact
11:30: Have lunch at Mậu Duệ
14:00 – 16:00: We keep moving to Du Gia commune (about another 37 km from Mậu Duệ) which is considered to be the fairy village in the middle of Ha Giang stone plateau.
16:00: We go to Homestay and check in
16:30: Move to the waterfall about 3km from the Homestay
18:30: Have dinner with friends around the world meet at Homestay, enjoy happy water together and local dishes, after dinner there are some local music
Day 5: Du Già – Lùng Tám – Quản Bạ – Hà Giang (90km)
8:00: Have breakfast at Homestay
9:00: We will visit Lung Tam brocade weaving village of H’mong people. They produce many products such as wallets, towels, clothes, brocade bags, tablecloths, pillowcases, decorative panels… The highlight of these products is that they were made of linen and hand-woven a long time ago. Tourists can buy a few things to take back
12: 00: Have lunch at Quản Bạ town
14:00: We go to the Bắc Sum slope (take a break, enjoy the view or take pictures).
16:30: We return to Ha Giang Hostel (take a rest, shower then wait for the bus to Hanoi)
